Auris has all the advantages of a satellite resort of Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski. Bathed in sunshine at an altitude of 1600m, Auris is nested on a south-facing slope, opposite a string of Ecrins summits. In fact, all you see from the resort is the immensity of the mountains.
Auris is one of those resorts on a “human-scale”, whilst having the good fortune of belonging to one of the largest skiing areas of the Alps. There are 2 instead of 50 ski classes, you have a good overview on the beginner slopes from the sunny terrace, your kids won't get lost in the crowds.
The chalet is located at a 10min drive from the ski resort. Roads are always cleared from snow, free parking is available at the station. We can offer a supplementary shuttle service with our own minibus.

Groups and families get nice discounts if you order your ski passes at least 2 weeks upfront.
On the opposite side of the valley, you find the second big ski resort of Les 2 Alpes. Included in a 6day ski pass of Alpe d'Huez are 2 days of skiing in Les 2 Alpes.
The Oisans region has lots of famous freeride descents to offer for experienced skiers. Go find the hidden couloirs for an ultimate powder experience.

Located at a 20min drive from the chalet, you can find the third ski resort of the area: La Grave. There's only one lift bringing you up to 3600m, from where the adventure beings. There is no single groomed ski run, only off piste!

Tourski and splitboarding is quicly gaining popularity. You go on an adventure in nature, earning your own turns, hiking up with adapted ski gear and tracing down your own tracks in the fresh snow.

The chalet is ideally located on the sunny side of the mountain in a small authentic hamlet.

With or without snowshoes, walkers can enjoy the fresh air on the groomed walking trails in Auris : the “Col de Maronne”, the “Piégut” forest and the “La Rochette” loop.
The Nordic domain of Auris is 2 sectors for 2 wild atmospheres typical of the Oisans and its high mountain spirit.
With a total of 8 km of tracks from the resort via the Col de Maronne, it is one of the total 50 km runs scattered here and there on the massif.
